Inclusive education

Goal: To combine the resources of state bodies, the civil sector and educational organizations for the development and implementation of a holistic inclusive education model in the Kyrgyz Republic, ensuring the inclusion of children with special educational needs in the education system.

The Program facilitates the testing of main regulatory and methodological documents aimed at institutionalizing inclusive approaches in the education system.  Currently, the Program is testing the State Educational Standard for Children with Disabilities, the Regulation on Psychological, Medical and Pedagogical Support Service, the Standard Individual Curriculum Structure, and the Model Adaptive Educational Program in order to replicate them throughout the entire education system in the future and to provide access to education for children with special educational needs.
