The fourth Aitmatov International Debate Academy will take place on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake, Kyrgyzstan from September 20th to September 27th. About a hundred participants selected from 7 countries: Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan as students of the Academy this year.
The main innovation of this year Academy is that participants are not only members of debate communities, but also a social active people – volunteers, representatives of youth movements, members of nongovernmental organizations and clubs.
Academy program includes courses, teaching how to use debate technologies in professional sphere and daily life. The main purpose of the Aitmatov International Debate Academy is to provide participants with the skills, which are to express their ideas properly and confidently, to think critically, to check the information, to argue and defend their civil position, to promote initiatives of their organization and to bring more audience to the solution of actual problems.
Besides the academic part, the program includes an open space for communication between the participants and guests of the event and cultural program.
