Meet Eurasia Festival’s Summer Season guest artists from Kyrgyzstan: Eliza Salibaeva, Flute, Bakhtiyar Dooranov, Clarinet, and Omurgazy Uulu Zhyrgalbek, Komuz!
They are winners of the Eurasia Festival’s Emerging Artists National Auditions in Kyrgyzstan organized byKyrgyz American Foundation in partnership with the Soros Foundation Kyrgyzstan, which was held in the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek in November 2018.
They will be making American premieres of music by Kyrgyz and Central Asian composers, including Vladimir Vlasov, Mikhail Raukhverger, Kalyi Moldobasanov, Muratbek Begaliev and Jyldyz Maldybaeva. Their participation in Eurasia Festival is made possible by the generous support of the Soros Foundation Kyrgyzstan.
Eurasia Festival is a project of Kyrgyz American Foundation, which was established to preserve the rich multicultural heritage of the Eurasian region and to introduce it to the general public of the United States.
The ultimate aim of the Foundation and its Festival is to promote international understanding and goodwill by means of cultural exchange.
