On May 18-18 Bishkek will host DataCon Central Asia, a conference on data in Central Asia dedicated to exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of data. The event will bring together officials, analysts, civil activists, journalists, researchers and start-ups of Central Asia.
DataCon Central Asia is two days of panels and workshops with the international and local speakers. The participants will learn how data-based decisions improve quality of life, what initiatives and projects in the field of data are currently being implemented in Central Asia and how data can be used for the development of society, business, and the country.
During discussions the speakers will discuss the use of data for the development at the local, the city and regional levels.

There are travel grants for the participants from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and regions in Kyrgyzstan. The number of grants is limited.
